Life.

When the sun rises

Light peeps

And

The day dawns

When the sun sets

The horizon gloom

Begins to wrap it's wings

Face to face

Pilling up

Obstacles

And

Challenges

So , we'd win

All those things

Successfully

To cross out from

Our lives.

:::::::::::::

See your goal

  Understand the obstacles

    Create a positive mental picture

Clear your mind of self doubt

        Embrace the challenge

          Stay on track

Show the world you can do it 🕊️

Impulse.

Any time

Any way

Any whare

It can be shown

But ,

We wonder whether

At what manner

It will be influenced

In our lives

It could be

Something bad

Or

Something good

It's the Impulse.🤯

It is common

To me ,

As well as to you.....

My favourite musical instruments.

Personally, I am very fond of all the instruments of the major music systems, North Indian, South Indian and Western. Among them, if we classify these systems among the three musical instruments, I am very fond of the Veena, Flute and Tabla as the triad of string instruments, percussion instruments and wind instruments. It is my personal preference. I give equal love and respect to all musical instruments from the history of music until now.

Among them, I have an indescribable love and desire for my favorite classical instrument, the Veena. Having never seen a veena, I was blessed to study the veena in my university, which is a blessing and a pleasure. Willingness to continue learning the veena grows in the ten days of the day. I play this divine instrument in the hands of Goddess Saraswati with great devotion, and it also strengthens me mentally. I am self-studying Indian veena players' playing techniques and willing to study this further from my teachers.

In the same way, the flute, which I like very much as a dry instrument, is also a musical instrument that is deeply rooted in the heart. One should also be fortunate to be blessed to learn this instrument of Lord, Krishna. If I don't get a chance to study flute as a major subject, I always try to study it through internet and social media. With a heart-soothing tone, Flutes' tunes have the power to heal hearts.

Tabla can also be introduced as one of my favorite musical instruments among the percussion instruments. Being fond of playing tabla since childhood, it was passed down from my father's side. Played tabla for 13 years and is currently practicing under the guidance of an expert teacher. I am willing to continue to do so in the future. I like to listen to the recordings of the great Indian tabla players, which gives me the opportunity to self-study.

Shown above are just a trio of strings, wind and percussion instruments that I have personally come to love. In addition, I have a deep love and respect for musical instruments of all systems and am willing to learn them as well.

My Paradise.

I was born in Galle, a very majestic city with a world famous and ancient history. I am fortunate to be a resident of Galle city, which is very beautiful and attractive. I have not found the comfort that I get in the paradise city of Galle in any other city. The love, respect and solemnity that I hold from my heart for the city of my birth will not leave my heart until I die.

The ancient places in the city of Galle, which are said to be inherited from a long past history, are the main reason for the value of our city. The Dutch Great Wall of Galle, built by the Dutch, adds a sense of solemnity and grandeur to the city of Galle. The city is made artistic through these buildings created according to the techniques of the Dutch. And through the Galle lighthouse and the clock tower, a different kind of attraction has been added to the city. Due to the complex architectural designs of the Dutch, the attractiveness of the city has also increased through the buildings that were created in such a way that they are located very close together. Due to these reasons, the tourism industry is also growing very fast centered in our city.

In the same way, the location of Galle city and its arrangement has primarily affected the beauty of the city. The largest bus station in South Asia centered in the city and the Galle railway station on the other hand add a lot of attraction to the city. The Municipal Council of Galle City takes care to clean these public places daily, and it is also a great role. At the same time, it can be said that the Galle International Cricket Stadium is located in the city. Due to the location of Galle Matara and Galle Colombo on the main road through the city of Galle, our city has become a densely populated city and due to urbanization, the number of people coming to the city daily is increasing rapidly.

Based on the Galle Fort, Sinhalese, Tamil, Muslim and Catholic people live in abundance. And the city of Galle is a perfect example to illustrate the national unity and religious harmony. Temples for Buddhists to worship, mosques for Muslims and Christian churches for Catholics and temples for Tamil brothers have been established in the city. Without arguments, everyone lives like children of one mother because of the culture created by the city dwellers themselves in our city. Lighting Vesak lanterns in churches on Vesak and setting up Christmas trees in temples on Christmas day, Through that, we city dwellers are trained to respect the devotion of other religions as well.

The Dutch Fort is centrally located at the Galle National Museum, which is managed by the National Museums Department. Valuable objects from hundreds of thousands of years ago have been deposited here and the tourism industry, which is a strong factor in bringing foreign exchange to the country, is a unique feature of Galle city. Also, Southland Girls' College and Olsen Boys' College in Galle Fort should be specially mentioned. All these factors affect the beauty of the city of Galle. A person who looks into the details of the city of Galle will get a lot of things to study about its beauty and there are also special things to be aware of.

In the same way, another important place, Galle Dharmapala Park, is also something that must be talked about. In the recent past, the Galle Municipal Council made this park in a modern way and returned it to the people, which was built to commemorate him by erecting a statue of Dharmapala. Spread over a very large area, this park is not just a place for small children. Anyone regardless of age can enjoy the beauty here and Galle is another place to enjoy the beauty of the city. With modern technical facilities and modernization, the horses in the pot have been systematically created using different types of plants and flowers as well as several species of fish.

It is another special feature that Rumassala hill is located in Galle city, which is said to have been established as a part of the soil containing medicines taken by Hanumanta. There are thousands of medicinal plants and a large number of bird species around this Rumassala mountain. Due to the location of the Peace temple at the highest point of Rumassala Hill, many people come to worship there. Also, tourists and many people come for picnics to visit Rumassala jungle beach. Many people prefer to enjoy the charm of the beach, which is surrounded by jungle on three sides. This is a strong factor in the beauty of Galle city. And the ancient temple and a green plantation around the place with the stone cave where Goddess Sita was imprisoned is located in Rumassala hill.

Fishing has been the main source of livelihood in Galle since then. They do this by going to sea and catching fish and trading. Also, due to the coral reefs near the sea, the city has a great attraction. Galle city is full of beauty from the beaches of Galle, Unawatuna , Koggala. A visitor to the city of Galle also has unique seafood to taste. Our residents are able to keep their fans hooked. The new hotel industry located near the seafront is also contributing to the growth of the city.

The above mentioned facts are the things that I would like to say about my native city with great pride and respect.

Course of study on development of leadership skills.

Under the auspices of the Ministry of National Policy and Economic Affairs, the study course on leadership skills development for school student leaders at Ambilipitiya National Center for Leadership Development was held from 16th of March , 2016 to 17th of March 2016.

My school,  President Girls' College, Galle also got an opportunity to participate in that and I was fortunate to participate in that valuable program as a student leader of the school.

This two-day residential program really provided a foundation for a child to develop their leadership skills and qualities and improve their abilities and talents. Various group activities taught us how to move forward as a team while maintaining the strong qualities a leader should possess. The youth parliament session was held and important issues were discussed there and we were given the opportunity to work amicably with friends from other schools and present our talents.

All of us, who wake up early in the morning and report to the playground for exercise, after that raise the national flags, sing the national anthem, perform our religious rites and get used to spending the day systematically. Who made us understand how to behave in a certain place, how to control one's thoughts appropriately, how to handle one's external movements and body properly.

Yodhagama village located in Ambilipitiya area is a quiet environment with a very beautiful nature and it is a pleasure to spend time in such an environment. At night everyone had an outdoor fire show together and everyone was happy singing and dancing.

We were made to understand how to take initiative in team leadership by conducting activities like adventure activities mountain climbing team boat races. It made us realize how much leadership qualities affect success in life. Everyone in that staff worked hard to bring various qualities such as responsibility, punctuality, support, patience and tolerance to our lives.

At the end of this two-day leadership skill development course, which was successfully completed, a ceremony was held and a certificate was also presented to us.
